Tammy Lee codes hard, plays hard, and takes the time to share her knowledge and experience with Ladies Learning Code learners and design students at MacEwan University, where she is a sessional instructor. Her twitter (@tammalee) is a hodgepodge of random food posts, pop-culture musings, and pleas for sanity.
You may have heard her speak at WordCamp, Ladies Learning Code, SMBYEG, Nerd Nite, CBC radio, or in your local coffee shop late one evening, going on about the mating habits of butterflies or squid. (It’s fascinating stuff). She’s also a writer so we’re pretty sure it’s legal for her to research this stuff. Pretty sure. Just don’t ask to see her browser history.
Tammy is an organizer for the WordPress Edmonton Meetup and she organized a Stupid Sh*t Nobody Needs and Terrible Ideas Hackathon — the first in Edmonton!
Off-line she paints, illustrates, writes, and does the laundry. Sometimes off-line can be pretty boring, tbh, which is why she spends most of her time on-line. She adores Internet culture and spends a lot of time lurking.
